Arrive at the Amritsar airport in accordance with their flight schedule. They will meet our driver cum representative at the airport when they arrive, and they will then go to Dalhousie, a tiny tinsel town set across five hills close to the Dhaulandhar mountain range. We will afterwards have some free time to unwind. We hold a brief Meet and Greet session in the evening.
Today, we travel to Khajjiar, sometimes referred to as Little Switzerland because of its stunning natural scenery. For an additional fee, those with an adventurous spirit can partake in exhilarating sports like horseback riding, zorbing, and paragliding. Following that, we travel to the Khajjiar Sanctuary, which is well-known for its Deodar Forest, Grasslands, and an easy hiking track that leads to an unspoiled forest and a breathtaking view of the Pir Panjal ranges. We take a stroll along the Ravi River in the evening and go boating at Chamera Dam
Today, we travel to Dharamshala, the Dalai Lama's residence, which is a hilltop city on the edge of the Himalayas surrounded by cedar trees. On the way, we stop at Kangra Fort, the biggest fort in the Himalayas, which is perched on a hill and offers a panoramic view of the Kangra valley. After that, we go to Chinmaya Tapovan, an ashram in the Kangra Valley at the base of the Dhauladhar peaks. We stop by the meditation room here. A little stroll through the thick pine forest to the Ashram provides panoramic vistas. Arriving in Dharamshala, free time to unwind and explore the area.
We will do Dharamshala tour today. The Dharamshala Cricket Stadium is the location of our photo stop. The Dharamshala Skyway ropeway ride offers breathtaking aerial views of the picturesque town after that. Upon arrival, we take a tour around the well-known McLeod Ganj, a charming village with a strong Tibetan influence that is tucked away among breathtaking hills and verdant vegetation. Give McLeod Ganj some time to be discovered. Shopping is possible at the Tibetian Bazar. Later, make a photo stop at the serene Dalai Lama Monastery (depending on operation), which is known for its colourful prayer halls and ornamental façade. We also visit Saint John's Church, an 18th-century Victorian-era church, and Bhagsu Naag Temple, which is thought to be an ancient temple where Lord Shiva once presided.
After breakfast drive to Amritsar and check into your hotel. After Freshen up transfer to Jallianwala Bagh Visit this historical site, commemorating the tragic massacre of hundreds of Indian civilians by British troops in 1919. Take a moment to reflect on the events that transpired here. Then drive to Wagah Border Ceremony: Head to the Wagah Border, around 30 kilometers from Amritsar, to witness the energetic flag-lowering ceremony performed by Indian and Pakistani soldiers. It's a patriotic and lively experience.
Early morning visit Golden Temple Start your exploration with the iconic Golden Temple, the spiritual heart of Sikhism. Spend time admiring its architecture and soaking in the peaceful ambianceafter, back to hotel for Breakfast
