Welcome to Madrid! We’ll be ready to transfer you to your hotel upon arrival at the airport. You’ll have some free time until the tour begins. Please check the information signs in the hotel reception area for details about the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers. In the evening, we’ll provide a transfer to Plaza Mayor and La Latina, Madrid’s most famous neighborhood for nightlife and tapas restaurants. You can dine at a restaurant of your preference—options include Indian, Chinese, Spanish, and Middle Eastern cuisines.
The morning will begin with a comprehensive tour of central Madrid, featuring highlights like Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Colón, and Plaza Mayor. We’ll then visit Retiro Park, a beautiful oasis in the city center, where we’ll see the lake and the Palacio de Cristal. Admission is included to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the home of Real Madrid, which is considered by many to be the best football club in the world. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your leisure. In the evening, we’ll provide a return transfer to the hotel.
In the morning, we’ll leave for Aragon, travelling through the lands of Castile. Our first stop will be in Zaragoza to admire the stunning Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. We’ll then journey to the serene Poblet Abbey, one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world (tickets included). Finally, we’ll head to Barcelona, where we’ll arrive in the evening.In the morning, we’ll leave for Aragon, travelling through the lands of Castile. In the morning, we´ll embark on a panoramic tour of Barcelona, renowned as one of the most fascinating European capitals. This vibrant city, nestled along the Mediterranean Sea, is famous for Gaudí’s modernist architecture, the bustling Ramblas, and its rich history, highlighted by the Universal Exposition and the Olympics hosted here. You´ll have free time in the afternoon. In the evening, we´ll provide a transfer to Maremagnum, a contemporary entertainment and dining complex by the sea, located near Plaza de Colón. Here, you can enjoy a stroll through the lively area and choose from various dining options.
At the scheduled time, we’ll provide a transfer to the station for your high-speed train journey from Barcelona to Paris, which is included in your trip. You'll arrive at your destination in just over 6 hours of comfortable travel. Upon arrival, another transfer will take you to your hotel. Your guide will contact you in the evening, or you can check the information signs provided at the hotel reception.
Today, we delve into the fascinating history of France with a visit to the splendid Palace of Versailles. Although admission is not included, you'll have the chance to explore its world-famous gardens, a testament to French grandeur. Our day continues as we return to Paris, heading to the enchanting Montmartre district. Known for its bohemian spirit, Montmartre is rich with artists, painters, and lively cabarets. To capture the essence of Paris, we'll set off on a panoramic city tour guided by a local expert, taking in the city's grand boulevards and iconic landmarks. After this immersive day, we'll return to our hotel. For those seeking further entertainment, an optional evening variety show is available.
Our day in central Paris begins with an unforgettable visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, where you'll have the opportunity to ascend to the second floor of this renowned iron structure—tickets are included. Following this, we embark on a serene cruise along the Seine River, which takes around an hour and fifteen minutes, offering delightful views of the city from the water. The afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish, providing the freedom to explore Paris at your own pace—please note that a transfer back to the hotel is not included. If wait times at the Eiffel Tower are lengthy, we may adjust the timing of your visit, or even reschedule it for Sunday, to ensure you have an enjoyable experience. As our journey concludes, take with you the wonderful and lasting memories of this trip. Do remember to check your flight time in case you require an extra night's stay.
